《英语诗歌常识与名作研读》是上海市教育委员会重点课程“英美文学”系列教材之一，也是上海市高等学校教育高地建设项目，《英语诗歌常识与名作研读》从文学本体出发，着眼于英语诗歌常识的介绍和相关名作的赏析。全书分十四章，每章介绍英诗基础知识的一个方面，并配经典名作以具体说明。《英语诗歌常识与名作研读》可作为高等学校英美文学专业课或选修课教材，也可作为英语爱好者自学提高的读物。

学习外国诗歌的入门书。其实我很想它能有“朗读法”的介绍。诗的艺术，是浓缩声音、意义和文字的多维度艺术。我觉得学会朗读诗歌是品诗的第一步。
大二文导课对于诗歌甚少的涉及真是让人遗憾。大一自己充电得到的一些关于抑扬和节律的知识就此般渐渐遗忘，实属遗憾，现在也再也没有心境去重温当初的感动了，被这几年无聊的无用的耗尽了热情。
