I should always appreciate what a treat it is, when a book never tries to give me an ulcer. And Mariana Zapata is earning my trust. I liked "Lukov" so much I actually voted for it in the Goodreads Choice Awards this year. Her plots don't upset me; her heroines don't annoy me, and her heroes ultimately more than make up for their initial assholery.
